An antique original 1799 hand coloured print depicting Cushion Aloe
Haworthia is a large genus of small, perennial, succulent plants in the Asphodelaceae family, native to South Africa.
Prints of this age were printed in black ink and then a team of artists would hand colour each print to match the natural colours of the plant.
Published in 1799 by Samuel Curtis in his series "Curtis' Botanical Magazine"
